The Tree Mosaic was another large design on the Mosaic Wall. I broke a lot of floor tile to design the tree. I then broke a lot of different plates in all shades of green and then cut the broken plate pieces into shapes somewhat resembling leaves. I like to show any writing on the back of the plates, made in . . . and I especially liked the plates that had texture. I chose not to grout the tree. I like the way it looks like individual leaves which could move in the wind, but never will.
